INFOMAR (INtegrated Mapping FOr the Sustainable Development of Ireland’s MArine Resource) is Ireland’s national seabed mapping programme. The initiative is a joint venture managed by Geological Survey Ireland and the Marine Institute, funded by the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment.

Under its research and education remit, INFOMAR publishes a series of Marine Geoscience Reports (https://www.infomar.ie/rd-and-education/Marine-Geoscience-Reports). Reports in the series relevant to the South Wexford Coast are:-

No 001:  Waterford Harbour & Shipping Channel.
No 002:  St Patrick’s Bridge.
No 003:  Esker-like Ridges off the South Coast.
No 006:  Saltee Islands.
